The most easily damaged zone: cutwater of the volute. The high chrome A05 volute keeps nothing here except the outer surface. Cutwater zone is weared completely wiht localized perforation.
Thanks to the UltraSiC ACM material , the cutwater zone keeps as new as orginal. The BOCO UltraSiC wet parts beat the chrome alloy in a total victory.
After 3,000 hours of operation, the UltraSiC ACM volute and covers show no obvious wear. The inlet of the ACM impeller exhibits only slight wear. The service life of the ACM wet parts has reached 4.16 times that of the A05 chrome alloy metal wet parts, with the pump continuing to operate normally.
